Royal Kesar Phirni (Saffron Rice Pudding)

Ingredients
- ½ cup basmati rice (soaked)
- 1 liter milk
- ½ cup sugar
- 6–7 saffron strands soaked in warm milk (buy Half Spoon Kesar)
- 1 tsp cardamom powder
- Almonds & pistachios for garnish
Method
- Grind rice into coarse paste.
- Boil milk, add rice paste, stir till thick.
- Add sugar, saffron milk, and cardamom powder.
- Pour into earthen bowls, garnish with nuts.
- Chill and serve.
